Nanticoke Health Services Dinner and Auction “American Bandstand - Celebrating Decades of Music” will be “hoppin’” and “boppin’” on Saturday, April 21st at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville. Whether you like to do The Hand Jive, Swing, Breakdancing, the Electric Slide, or you are an amateur, come out and enjoy an evening of bidding on live and silent auction items, dinner, and dancing the night away.

Items up for bid include autographed items from Country music’s top performers Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum, a 4-person Blue Sea spa, Walt Disney theme park passes, Lawn Care services, and NFL autographed items from the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers, along with a timeshare at The Links in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

While strolling and enjoying music of the past decades, set your sites on a chart-topper experience donated by Delmarva Board Sports of Fenwick Island, Delaware. The area’s leading stand up paddle board outfitter has donated a dinner and stand up paddle boarding experience for one lucky group of 5 for the Nanticoke Health Services Dinner Auction.

“This is our first year supporting the Nanticoke’s Dinner Auction, and we’re excited to share the fastest growing water sport in the world with new people interested in healthy and active lifestyles,” says co-owner George Markopoulos. “Paddle boarding is a healthy and fun activity for the entire family. It’s a perfect complement to this fund raising event for the expansion of cardiac catheterization services at Nanticoke.”

The DelMarVa Board Sports paddle boarding package includes all necessary paddle-boarding gear, a lesson, a professional guide to lead the tour, photography of the adventure, and a waterfront meal. The entire experience lasts about 3 hours on the calm bayside waters of The Little Assawoman Bay as the sun sets over Fenwick Island, Delaware.

Proceeds from the Dinner and Auction will benefit Nanticoke’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab, which combines the most advanced technology with an experienced team of physicians, nurses, and technicians who are on call 24/7. Every day physicians perform lifesaving procedures to clear blockages and enhance heart health care, and Nanticoke Memorial Hospital has reached a point where it needs to expand its facilities. Expansion of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab will help ease possible delays emergency cases cause and will once again raise the bar for the services Nanticoke provides to the community.
