Kitschy Stitch opened in 2009, intent upon being more than just a shop that sold yarn.  We are located in a vintage house that has an old fashioned front porch, which sets the tone for welcoming everyone in the community, full-time and part-time residents, and especially visitors.  We are three doors down from Starbucks, between the Cultured Pearl and Stingray restaurants.    

Kitschy Stitch strives to go above and beyond, a place where you can be relaxed, and participate in a learning environment.  As part of that commitment, we are available for friendly, knowledgeable help anytime.

We offer workshops and classes to help build your skills, and have established two weekly sessions of free “sit-n-stitch,” open to all, where we can get together and share our love of our crafts, as well as meet new friends.

In addition to classes and lessons, and a wide variety of good quality yarns, Kitschy Stitch tries to satisfy all of your knitting and crocheting needs: accessories, individual patterns, books, felt and felting kits, roving and even oil cloth.
