Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's to host Candlelight Stroll in Rehoboth Dec. 10
Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty will be hosting an Open House “Candlelight Stroll and Roll” event in downtown Rehoboth Beach from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10.
Open to the public, the event will showcase the brokerage’s downtown Rehoboth homes for sale. In addition, each home on the tour will feature a local artisan's or crafter’s works as well as light refreshments.
Participants are encouraged to visit Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s Rehoboth office, located at 330 Rehoboth Ave. that day to pick up home tour maps and enjoy refreshments. Everyone who visits four or more open houses on the tour that day should drop off their punch card at the office or one of the open homes to be entered to win a gift basket filled with original crafts made by local artisans, stocking stuffers, and small holiday items. All Stroll and Roll events are open to the general public and free of charge.
“We are really looking forward to doing this Stroll and Roll event during the holiday season,” said Justin Healy, Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s broker. “It’s beautiful to see the properties in the afternoon light and we are looking forward to having local artisans showcasing their handmade crafts in each of the homes. We hope people will stop by our office after visiting the homes for a chance to win a great holiday gift basket filled with items from these crafters.”
Interested parties can pick up an open house map beforehand at the Ocean Atlantic office or print one out at oasothebysrealty.com.
“People can visit one, a few, or all of the homes featured on the tour,” said Kathleen Schell, marketing director. “We will have a variety of homes open that day, from classic beach cottages to the 2008 Rehoboth Main Street Cottage Award winner. We are very excited to have these exceptionally talented crafters’ works displayed at each home. The items they are showcasing will be for sale and would make great stocking stuffers.”
Participating artisans include Wes Stack and Carmela Coleman with pottery; Ashley Richter with handmade scarves; Katie Beitzel with handmade headbands; and Justin Sabbia of Insight Gallery with handmade jewelry.
