Memorial Day Weekend Hoagie Sale May 26

Long Neck United Methodist Women will hold their Annual Memorial Day Weekend Hoagie Sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 26. Takeouts only. Prices are ham & cheese $6 and Italian $6.50. 'We Remember' at Unitarian Universalists community May 27

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will meet at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 27, at 33739 Marsh Road in Lewes. The Rev. D. All Saints' Church to hold Memorial Day Requiem Eucharist May 28

A Memorial Day Requiem Eucharist honoring and remembering deceased veterans will be offered at 9:30 a.m., Monday, May 28, at All Saints’ Church, 18 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach.  The choir will perform patriotic hymns and other special music. For more information, call 302-227-7202.

Saturday sales at New Life Thrift Store help local ministries

During the Saturdays of spring, the New Life Thrift Store will be offering a variety of sales from its many items. Because of the exceptional generosity of the community, the store is filled and needs to reduce some of its inventory to make room for more donations. People can drop off items to the store behind Jiffy Lube on Route 1 near Lewes from10 a.m to 3 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays, when the store is open.

New Life Thrift Store is a ministry of the Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches, which includes a variety of church denominations. LRAC distributes the thrift shop proceeds to a number of local charities benefiting the citizens of the area.


Teen Talks every Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church

All high school youth are invited to take part in Teen Talks from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Youth Room.  Epworth UMC is at 19285 Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth.  For more information, call 302-227-7743.


Reformers Unanimous recovery ministry meets every Friday

Reformers Unanimous is a Christ-centered addictions recovery ministry that meets from 7 to 9 p.m. each Friday at First Baptist Church, 1001 Kings Highway, Lewes.   Any struggle may be overcome through biblical discipleship leading to Christian victory.
