WinterJam to benefit school programs, scholarship

By Rachel Swick | Jan 20, 2011
Ready to shake off those winter blues? Then come on down to the WinterJam Friday, Jan. 28, at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.

The evening will keep you warm with music from Love Seed Mama Jump and opening band No Basement at the Alamo.

Get tickets in advance for $15 at the Cape Henlopen District Office or pay $20 at the door the night of the event.

“This is the only fundraiser for the Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation (CHEF),” said Christine King, CHEF board member. “So come on out and have some fun.”

The evening begins at 7 p.m. with music, dancing, drinks and eats. The entertainment will last until midnight.

“The Cape schools are a wonderful resource and attraction to Lewes, Milton, Dewey and Rehoboth,” said King. “Let’s do our best to help the Cape Henlopen School District be the best it can be.”
