Alley-Oop Skim shop in Dewey Beach hosted its 5th Annual Easter Egg Scoop in Dewey Beach at New Orleans Street March 30. With volunteer help from Dewey Business Partnership and the Friends of Dewey Beach, a very large turnout of children searched the beach for 2,300 eggs.

The hunt was broken into three age groups: 5 and under, 6 to 8 and 9 to 11, with a limit of 10 eggs for each participant. A special golden egg was hidden for each group, giving the lucky child to half off skimboard lessons this summer.
