American University volleyball serves through Cape

The American University volleyball team hit the hardwood at Cape Henlopen High School Aug. 11-15 for its annual trip to the Lewes area for a week of preseason practice.

The Eagles won the Patriot League Championship in 2013 and made it to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Championships by defeating Georgia and Duke along the way. They finished the season ranked 19th in the nation out of 332 teams.

Preseason polls have them ranked 24th in the NCAA.
