Anona Council No. 11 hosts picnic for family and friends
Anona Council No. 11 members gathered recently for a picture with family and friends following a delicious picnic lunch. The council members meet at 7 p.m on the third Tuesday of each month at the Red Men Nanticoke Tribe No. 21 Lodge on Route 113 in Georgetown. During their meetings, they develop ways to raise funds for community projects and the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter. They also donate canned foods to local charities.
Anona Council No. 11 invites anyone who is interested in assisting the community to join as a member. For membership information and how to assist the Pocahontas in Georgetown, call Patsy Moore at 302-856-6692.
