Beacon basketball boys and girls beat Millsboro

The Beacon girls' basketball team, coached by Christy Smith and Lisa Williams, pulled away from visiting Millsboro in the second half, winning 33-30 to remain unbeaten on the season.

The Vikings were paced by Logan Shuttleworth, who scored 12 points.

The boys of coaches Sean O'Grady and Bud Hitchens won 52-27 behind Ian Robertson and Kolbi Wright on the inside.
