Best of Milton Auction and Party set Sept. 214 to 7:30 p.m. at Milton Fire Hall
The Best of Milton Auction and Party will take place Saturday, Sept. 21 from 4 to 7:30 p.m., at Milton Fire Hall. Guests will enjoy an exceptional variety of silent and live auction items; delicious hors d’oeurvres, desserts and King’s Ice Cream; live music; and the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled evening with others who value and support the mission of the Milton Historical Society. The MHS is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Milton and the Broadkill Hundred.
There is so much to bid on! A sampling includes Delaware license tag C9191 in black and white; original art such as “Herring Point Sunrise,” by Kevin Fleming; Milton memorabilia; golf packages; Baltimore Symphony tickets; decorative items and antiques; salon services; culinary adventures; a plane ride; a ride on Milton Fire Department’s 1926 fire engine; a private tour of Dogfish Head Brewery with Sam Calagione; and much, much more.
Tickets are available at the door for $15. The Milton Fire Hall is located at 116 Front St. in Milton. Free parking is available across from the fire hall, behind M&T Bank, at Mulberry and Unions streets, and behind the Milton Library. A cash bar will offer a selection of wine, Dogfish Head beer, and soft drinks.
