Sussex board upholds deputy's firing

Georgetown — The Sussex County Board of Personnel unanimously upheld the firing of former Deputy Sheriff Ishmael "Pete" Torres, who was dismissed for falsifying records, misappropriation of overtime and abusing county equipment.
