Bob Frederick On Hand for Campaign Kick-Off
State Senate Candidate for the 6th District Bob Frederick was on hand for his long time friend House Majority Leader Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf's formal kick-off of his campaign for the 14th District House seat on Wednesday, August 1 at the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk bandstand.
Schwartzkopf, a Democrat, has served the the 14th Distrct since 2002, representing Rehoboth Beach, Henlopen Acres, Cape Helopen State Park, Angola and the surrounding areas. The newly redistricted 14th District will also bring Dewey Beach back into the district after 10 years. A retired Delaware State Police captain and former Troop 7 commander, Schwartzkopf has been involved in the community and with various charitable groups for years.
"My good friend Pete Schwartzkopf and I have a long history together addressing the important issues confronting our area. I'm happy to be here to support the campaign kick-off and his bid for reelection." said Frederick.
The announcement took place at 5 p.m. on the Rehoboth boardwalk, with Governor Jack Markell on hand to introduce him.
