Bethany Fine Arts Gallery by Michael Orhelein and Lizzy’s Beach Wear Gear celebrated the start of the season with a double ribbon cutting June 19 in the Bethany Town Center. Patrons, friends and families, along with Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce representatives, cut the ribbon on the well-established gallery featuring beautiful photographs and prints by local favorite Michael Orhelein, then took the short walk to Lizzy’s to mark the grand opening of this new store which features everything needed at the beach.

Bethany Fine Arts Gallery is inside the Bethany Town Center Mall at 100 Garfield Parkway in downtown Bethany. Lizzy’s Beach Wear and Gear is on Atlantic Avenue, three doors south of Garfield Parkway and can be accessed through the Garfield Parkway of the Town Center Mall. Both stores are open daily throughout the summer.

Surrounded by friends and well-wishers at the grand opening of Lizzy's Beach Wear & Gear are in front (l-r) Diane Koch, Marilyn Panagopoulos, Sarah Faul, Mary McCourt, Margaret McCourt, Kevin McCourt, Lise O’Connell and Kristie Maravalli. (Source: Submitted)
