Cape baseball falls 3-2 to Spartans in nine innings

Senior Diaz Nardo had three hits including a double in the Vikings' 3-2 loss to host Lake Forest April 23. Kai Vitella added a triple and an RBI in the contest. Starter Griffin Kammerer threw five innings and was relived by Nardo. Tucker Nickerson threw the ninth and was given the loss on a double and single by the Spartans. Each team had seven hits in the contest.
