The Cape Henlopen boys' tennis team competed in the 2014 Henlopen Conference Tennis Championships May 8 and 10 at Sea Colony in Bethany Beach. After two days of fierce competition, Cape’s second singles player Evan Lesko finished second in the conference; the first doubles team of Ben Emery and Hughie Lutz finished third, and the second doubles duo of Jason Harris and Brandon VanVorst earned second.

The boys' strong performance in the tournament was good enough to place Cape second in the Henlopen Conference. It was a happy ending to a solid season that saw the Vikings post a 9-5 regular-season record.
