Cape high students entertain community at annual Winter Concert

The Cape Henlopen High School’s choir, chorale, jazz band and concert band held the annual Winter Concert Dec. 11 in the school auditorium.


According to choir director Louise Foster, the choir, chorale and bands will have the opportunity to attend the Presidential Inauguration in January. They will be part of a competition and are looking forward to the nation's capital experience.


Shown is the Cape Choir which opened the evening’s program.



One of the many soloists for the choir was Cassie Mauri singing “Grown-Up Christmas List.”
Following the performance of the Cape Choir, the Cape Chorale took the stage. Shown is Chorale director Louise Foster, left, praising the singers for their many accomplishments over the year.

Following the singers was the Cape Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Rob Barbarita.

The Cape Concert Band clossd the Winter Concert, also under the direction of Rob Barbarita.
