Cape JROTC cadets place in top three at statewide drill competition

Thirteen Cape Henlopen JROTC cadets from the Drill Team competed against the top teams from across Delaware April 5 in several events at Dover Air Force Base. Cape JROTC was the only representative for Sussex County.

Cape’s cadets won third-place trophies in Armed Exhibition Drill, Unarmed Drill, and Inspection. Overall, Cape won third place.

Cadets who deserve special recognition are Alex Dominick for Best Unarmed and Armed Exhibition Commander, Dean Hysock for Best Color Guard and Inspection Commander, and Cody Ross for Best Armed Regulation Commander.
