Cape park campgrounds need air-conditioning
Not having any real yea or nea about having people drive on the beach to swim and have a good family time is not a real priority. I do though, agree with the fisherman that no swimmers should be near where they are fishing, due to the fact of the amount of bait that is attracting fish of quite a few species.
But my main concern is with the fact that Cape Henelopen campground cannot get upgrades to having electric at all sites for campers who choose to pay for it. Most all of our surrounding states parks have it. We get hot too, being campers with the day heat of in the high 90s and night in the 80s. The park rangers housing has A/C, the offices and the booths. Why not us campers?
Killens Pond, along with Lums Pond has electric. The camp host has electric. Having it installed will pay for itself in no time!
People with certain medical conditions require A/C, but they might not be handicapped to the point that our local state park requires you to be to run your generator. I know anyone is allowed to run to a certain time so that other campers can relax and sleep. But there is nothing worse than sleeping in a pool of sweat. Come on, Cape Henelopen State Park, make camping enjoyable to all and not just "certain people" get electric
