Caswell criticism totally off base

Mar 29, 2013

I must take the time to rebut Josie Sudano’s letter about Harry Caswell. I have known Harry and his wife personally for many years and look forward to seeing his expression of love and devotion to his wife on Valentine’s Day.  From the billboards to the centerfolds to the recent painting on a truck, he never fails to express to the world his love for his wife.

Obviously this lady knows nothing of Harry’s generosity. He is without a doubt one of the most caring, generous people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

Annually he donates to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital through efforts with Punkin Chunkin. He spearheaded the demolition of the Bradley office eyesore, most of which he also financed. He had his crews and equipment on site for days working beside other local contractors he asked to help. He is always the first to lend a hand when a disaster strikes.

When the tragedy in New York happened on 9/11 he was sitting in an ambulance as an EMT riding there with other volunteers. Anyone needing help is liable to see Harry show up to their side.

I, along with many others who know, would defend his morals and desire to help his fellow human beings against some jealous, selfish unknowing person who would rather slam someone for doing than step up and get involved. I welcome Ms. Sudano appearance and help at any of the number of fundraising events I actively get involved with, knowing that if asked that Harry will be there also.
