CatSnippers thank supporters for help

Sep 04, 2013

The Milton CatSnippers would like to send out a big thanks to Jenn Orlando and the entire staff of Irish Eyes Restaurant in Milton! They were wonderful in securing us a spot at this years Bargains on the Broadkill Festival in Milton. We had a beautiful and prosperous day, and fun was had by all.

We want to thank everyone who purchased items, donated something or just stopped by to talk and ask questions about the group. We also want to thank all the people who turned out to help make jewelry and paint fence fish before the event, so we could have some things to sell.

You know who you are, and we want you all to know how much it was appreciated. Special thanks go out to Tom and Jean Osborne, who have donated so much of their time and money buying supplies and opening up their home to have all the jewelry making and painting parties. You two are truly inspirational!

And last but not least, a little information about the Milton CatSnippers. We are a nonprofit group that spays and neuters stray and/or feral cats in and around the Town of Milton. We also manage some colonies in the area. We have spayed/neutered over 800 cats since we began in 2001.

If you feed a stray cat and do not have the money to have it spayed or neutered, please contact us or another spay/neuter group and get help to take care of this aspect of being a responsible caretaker. You are not helping these cats by just feeding them. Please, always spay and neuter your pets!
