Christiana Care physicians featured at Lewes Mini-Medical School program
Mini-Medical School is a free, five-week lecture series offered to adults and junior and senior high school students to help them learn about important trends in medicine and health. The Mini-Medical School series is cosponsored by Christiana Care Health System, the Delaware Academy of Medicine and the Delaware Academy of Family Medicine. Christiana Care physicians will provide in-depth lectures on important issues and advances in medicine and research. After each lecture, participants may ask questions. There are no tests or grades and no previous medical training is required. Participants who attend all five sessions will receive a certificate of achievement.
All lectures will be held at the University of Delaware’s Virden Retreat Center, 700 Pilottown Road, Lewes. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and preregistration is required. To register call 800-693-CARE(2273).
Check-in for each session will be at 6 p.m., and lectures will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates:
