City of Lewes settles on Thompson property

The City of Lewes settled Dec. 27 on the 5.9-acre Thompson property which it contracted to purchase from the Thompson family for $2.5 million. The property lies between Stango Park and Freeman Highway and is bounded on the north by Monroe Avenue.
