Credit Scores Determine Your Mortgage Rate
A recent customer wanted to refinance their home to take advantage of the low mortgage rates reported in the news. Unfortunately for that customer they will not be able to benefit from the current low mortgage rates because their credit score is not high enough.
Many people do not understand the role credit scores play in their life. Any time you want to borrow money (credit cards, car loan, mortgages), shop for insurance, and even apply for a job your credit is pulled to determine what risk is associated with you. A low credit score will undoubtedly affect your mortgage rate.
We at West Star Mortgage understand the difficulty people have with achieving and maintaining a solid credit score. We work hand-in-hand with our customers like Jen M. Jen M. wrote, "Can I just tell you how awesome you were in our discussion last night!? You have seriously given us a new mind set and some relief and we know now what to do." We gave Jen M. a plan to improve her credit scores. We explained how the system works and what they can do to make it work for them. She went on further to say, "I honestly can't thank you enough for just sitting down and talking to us. It means more than you know because of the resent issues I had with the other two companies."
