Dawn's Country Market, at the intersection of Route 1 and Cave Neck Road between Lewes and Milton, will host a benefit from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, for Scott Daly who was recently diagnosed with ALS.

Daly constructed a train display at the market for the Christmas season. "It was the first year that he set this up for us, and unfortunately it will probably be his last," said market co-owner Wally Goff. He said Daly has no health insurance.

Santa will be at the market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., refreshments will be sold and donations will be accepted. For more information, phone the market at 644-4760.
