Samuel De Boer and Betty (Elizabeth) De Boer of Lewes married during their senior year at the University of Delaware, Dec. 18, 1949, at the bride's home in Montclair, N.J.

After the wedding they moved to St. Andrew's School in Middletown, where Sam held the position of farm manager.  They completed their studies at UD and graduated in June 1950 with their classmates.
