As part of an ongoing effort to give back to the community, a local oil delivery company, Peninsula, has wrapped one of its fuel oil delivery trucks with the colors and logo of the USO. In addition, the company is donating one cent for every gallon of oil delivered off the truck.

The USO of Delaware is well known across the Delmarva Peninsula, and wrapping the vehicle gives Peninsula a chance to show its support with every delivery. Currently, the truck can be seen making deliveries across Delmarva, as well as at parades and other USO functions.

“We at Peninsula are very proud that we have a truck that represents our community spirit,” says John Willey II, president. “This truck symbolizes what so many people in our service area work for. The funds from this truck go directly to USO Delaware who, in turn, helps all the brave men and women and their families in the Delmarva Peninsula area.”

Founded in 1935 by James Emory Willey, Peninsula has been handed down from generation to generation and is headed today by John Willey II.  Peninsula continues its long-standing commitment to complete customer satisfaction and community involvement. More information can be found at penoil.com.
