In the Senior Division the Pirates and the Windriders battled to a 2-2 result with all goals being scored in the first half of play. The Pirates moved out to a two-goal lead on a pair of goals by Sydney Ostroski (both assisted by Jenna Steele) but Leah Smyk and Madi Irwin answered back with Irwin’s goal coming on a penalty corner as time expired in the half. Strong defensive play by both teams limited shots on the goal in the second half.

The second game in the division ended with the Seahawks taking a 3-1 win from the Surfers. Lisa Williams and Lexi Woodruff gave the Seahawks a pair of goals going into half time with Abi Kane scoring the Surfer goal. Lexi Gooch earned the insurance goal with a tap in early in the second half for the Seahawks.

On Wednesday, the Warriors face the Seahawks at 5:45 followed by the Surfers and Windriders at 6:45 on the turf at Cape Henlopen HS.
