Denise Jester Promoted to Chief Financial Officer

It is with great pride that Nanticoke Health Services announces the promotion of Denise Jester, to the position of Chief Financial Officer for Nanticoke Health Services.  As Chief Financial Officer Ms. Jester is responsible for Nanticoke Health Services’s financial operations management. She has been with Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for more than 31 years serving a majority of those years in the accounting department. Denise brings with her an extensive knowledge of the different levels of reimbursement from insurance.  “Nanticoke is honored to have someone with the integrity, work ethic and knowledge possessed by Denise,” said Steven Rose, President/CEO of Nanticoke Health Services. “Denise has been serving as the interim CFO since last fall and as the official CFO for a couple months now.  We could not be more pleased with our choice.”

Denise Jester has been a part of this community her entire life. Ms. Jester was born at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, went to Seaford High School, Del Tech University, and then graduated from Wilmington University.  Ms. Jester understands Nanticoke’s impact on the community as the major employer and health provider in the area.   “The role Nanticoke plays within this community is vital to the future success of the community,” said Ms. Jester.  “Because what we do every day is such an important part of the community, it is important Nanticoke is fiscally sound for the future.  That is the heart of the CFO position.”
