A Beachside Retreat of Custom Garden Townhomes
Denniston Place is envisioned to create a living experience that allows for immediate access to the active downtown Lewes center while offering a calm reflective respite from the noise and clatter of the commercial core. Our units are envisioned to be first or second homes and are not intended to be used for short-term rental units. A sense of undisturbed tranquility on an intimate residential streetscape is our goal.
With entrances off each end of the lot off Massachusetts Ave, eight units are placed facing each other around a 60 foot wide shared and protected open space in the form of a formal garden. This concept evolved from the European tradition of a calming space behind the main street side facades. The emphasis is on the creation of small intimate spaces interacting with the garden. This garden will have a fountain to be enjoyed from small balconies as well as shared benches throughout. French doors open to the balconies, which are small enough to ensure homes are not disturbed by neighbor's noise. There will be pebbled walkways and no vehicular access to the garden. On the Savannah Road (south east) side of the homes there will be great views of the sunrises. On the west end there will be sunset views.

Born and raised in the small town of Greenville, South Carolina, Murray feels right at home here in Sussex County. He has jumped right in and has spent numerous hours and days getting the lay of the land. His passion for the outdoors and wildlife initially led Murray to the University of Montana and from there to California where he served as a member of the US Navy. Murray's love for the outdoors taught him to not only give back to the environment but the community. That served him well as a realtor in South Carolina where he focused on sales, rentals and agricultural improvements. Murray brings his many skills to the newly formed Lingo-Padgett Real Estate team and to his newly formed marriage to Carrie Lingo.
