Dewey Beach — More than 130 bands are set to perform live at the annual rock-centric Dewey Beach Music Conference. The free event begins Thursday, Sept. 19, and acts are scheduled to run through Saturday, Sept. 21.
Venues include Bottle and Cork, Jimmy’s Grille, Gary’s Dewey Beach Grill, Port, Rusty Rudder, Ivy and McShea’s Beach Pub.
Among the bands set to appear are The Deadmen, a rock group from Washington, D.C.; Peruvian rock band Emergency Blanket; and Joe Robinson, a guitarist and singer who won the 2008 season of Australia’s Got Talent.
Lovebettie, of Pittsburgh, which has been an audience favorite since it first appeared at the conference in 2011, will return to the Rusty Rudder stage Saturday, Sept. 21.
