Dewey Beach — The Dewey Beach Civic League treated the Dewey Beach Patrol to a catered barbecue July 5.

"These kids do a great job and they deserve a little treat," said Steve Huse, Dewey Beach Civic League treasurer, in a press release.

The catering crew from Bethany Blues gets food ready for the lifeguards. Here Bridget Danner runs drinks and food back and forth from the truck, while Mike Rielly prepares a "classic barbeque menu" of smoked pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, corn bread and coleslaw.
