Lewes Wear held its grand opening and ribbon cutting April 3 at 109 Savannah Road, Lewes. The shop offers Lewes, Delaware and University of Delaware apparel, accessories and much more.

Lewes Wear offers a wide array of Lewes apparel for men: T-shirts, jackets, caps and sweat shirts, and carries regular and plus sizes up 3XL when available. Women's items range from T-shirts to sweat shirts to tote bags and wine tumblers. One new T-shirt shows a local map of the area; another features all the local lighthouses. Lewes Wear also carries University of Delaware apparel and gifts.

Gift items include Lewes license plates and Lewes garden flags, unique coffee mugs, magnets and car stickers in a variety of designs. The store has brought back a variety of "Loo-iss" items including mugs, stickers and T-shirts.

Lewes Wear has an online shop that, when finished by the end of April, will have the entire store's merchandise online. Visit www.LewesWear.com, which offers free shipping on orders over $75.

“Our Lewes Gifts shop was carrying the Lewes clothing, but many customers were asking for additional Lewes items, as well as other items for the gift shop and we just did not have the room. When the space became available, I had been wanting to separate the two and decided it was time,“ says owner Michiko Seto. “We now had the room to rearrange the gift shop and to be able to bring in new products for both stores that offer the convenience of one-stop shopping in downtown Lewes."

Seto currently has Treasures, which offers jewelry, cards and home décor; Lewes Gifts and Milford Gifts, which carry home accessories, gifts and cards; and four Blooming Boutique stores which carry clothing, handbags, shoes, beads, and jewelry with locations in Milford, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach and Lewes. A new store, Blooming Boutique Too, will open in April in Rehoboth Beach; it will be a jewelry store for both women and men and is located next to Blooming Boutique.

Lewes Wear, 109 Savannah Road, is next to Striper Bites.  Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will extend to include evening hours in the summer. To learn more call 302-827-4405 or visit www.LewesWear.com or follow on Facebook.
