Dynamic Physical Therapy welcomes Delaware native Beth Roros, occupational therapist and certified hand therapist, to the team of therapists at the Long Neck clinic in the Back Bay Park Shopping Center. Roros graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Towson University and then obtained additional certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.

Roros has 20 years of experience rehabilitating shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, treating all ages from pediatric to geriatric. She specializes in upper-extremity diagnoses including, but not limited to, pre- and post-surgical care for nerve, tendon and soft tissue injuries; carpal tunnel; common tendonitis;  arthritis; repetitive UE injuries; UE sprains and strains; and work-related injuries.

Roros is an expert in custom splint fabrication and proficient in activities of daily living retraining and adaptive equipment modification, allowing patients to continue to enjoy their favorite activities or ease daily tasks. In addition to her clinical experience, Roros has taught gross anatomy as an adjunct professor for the occupational therapy programs at Sacred Heart University and Quinnipiac University. She has presented at the local and national level and coauthored several papers.

Her caring personality makes patients feel comfortable and relaxed while her hands-on treatment methods maximize their rehabilitation results.

The Long Neck clinic was the first office in Sussex County for Dynamic Physical Therapy, opening in July 2003. Since then, loyal patients and supporting physicians have helped Dynamic grow to five locations, most recently opening in Laurel in October 2012. Beth Roros, OT/CHT, is accepting new patients; call 302-947-9662 for an appointment or more information.
