Elena Delle Donne, former Ursuline Academy and University of Delaware basketball standout, greets Chicago Sky teammates May 13 before the start of the first-ever WNBA preseason game at The Bob Carpenter Center in Newark. Before a sellout crowd, she scored a team-high 17 points to lead her team to a 76-69 win over the Washington Mystics. Last year, Delle Donne was named Rookie of the Year and finished the season with the best free-throw percentage in WNBA history, .929. She was also the first rookie ever to win the all-star vote.

All her fans know this look. Elena Delle Donne holds high school, college and professional records for free-throw shooting. She was 7-8 at the line in this preseason game. (Photo by: Ron MacArthur)
