In the Elementary Division the Coyotes defeated the Rattlers by a final 3-0. Lori Sapp scored the winning goal at 3:28 in the opening half for the Coyotes. Second half goals by Cadence McMahon and Lilly McAroy sealed the victory for the Coyotes.

In the second game in the division the Scorpions jumped all over the Cougars for a 7-0 win. Grace Wiggins (2), Raegan Ciabattoni (3), and Samantha Connors (2) provided the scoring fire-power.


Games continue on Monday with the Coyotes facing the Cougars at 5:45 followed by the Rattlers and the Jaguars at 6:30 on the Bermuda field at Cape Henlopen HS.


In the Senior Division, the Warriors and Seahawks battled to a 2-2 decision. Lolo Messick scored at 8:05 in the first half to give the lead to the Warriors. Carolyn Talerico evened the score early in the second half for the Seahawks. Lexi Gooch followed with a reverse stick drive to push the lead to 2-1 for the Seahawks before Amanda Sponaugle scored with 10:10 remaining to earn the tie for the Warriors.

In the final game of the evening the Surfers defeated the Windriders by a final of 4-0. Vienna Iacona opened the scoring for the Surfers at 10:48 in the first half. Lexi Hendrickson the scored on a penalty stroke to make the lead 2-0 at half. Hendrickson and Paige Ludwicki finished off the scoring for the Surfers early in the second half.


Monday’s games feature the Seahawks and Windriders at 5:45 followed by the Warriors and the Pirates at 6:45 on the turf at Cape Henlopen HS.
