Families filled the waterfront at Lewes Canalfront Park June 15, to dip their lines in the water for the Fish'n Kids event. The Father's Day event was sponsored by Friends of Canalfront Park and Quest Fitness and Kayak. The fish weren't biting, but fun was had by the children experiencing fishing, some for the first time, with their parents.

The fish bite was slow so (l-r) Braxton Carter, Connor Stanford and Evan Fennemore had some fun netting shrimp from the rocks. (Photo by: Steven Billups )
