Sen. Gary Simpson, R-Milford, is sworn in by retired Sussex County Superior Court Judge Bill Lee at a ceremony Jan. 8, at Legislative Hall in Dover. Simpson, recently elected by Senate Republicans to serve a third term as minority leader, was first elected to the Senate in 1998. With the new legislative session now under way, Simpson says he will continue to  focus on improving Delaware’s economy. Simpson represents the 18th Senatorial District.
