Georgetown man faces drug charges
A 47-year-old Georgetown man faces drug charges after police say they found him with heroin.
Nathan S. Stevens was sitting in his car at 4 p.m. July 9 in the parking lot of Dunbarton Oaks when police were called about suspicious activity, said Lt. Lawrence A. Grose of the Georgetown Police Department.
Police discovered several capiases out on Stevens. Upon searching his car, Grose said, police found two small baggies of heroin and a straw used to ingest heroin.
Police charged Stevens with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $1,000 secured bond.
