Guppy Club offered at Cape State Park May 2Kids will get messy as they look for squishy, slimy animals
The staff at Cape Henlopen invites parents to bring their 3- to 5-year-olds to the Seaside Nature Center Thursday, May 2, at 10:30 a.m. for their monthly Guppy Club program. There are different topics each month and include stories, games and crafts.
On May 2, kids will get messy as they look for squishy, slimy animals. The program fee is $3 per child, and each child must be accompanied by an adult. Children will go outdoors, so they should be dressed for the weather.
Parents will find more information about upcoming topics at destateparks.com. Additional information and pre-registration are available by calling 302-645-6852. The Seaside Nature Center is open daily from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
It features five 1,000-gallon tanks that house local fish species, a touch tank with marine invertebrates and a live Osprey Camera from April through August.
