Heidi Lowe Gallery opens new jewelry show Sept. 14Katja Toporski’s solo show is titled Objects Recovered
Heidi Lowe Gallery will host an opening from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, for Katja Toporski’s solo show, Objects Recovered.
“Katja’s work hints at many themes that I find interesting,” gallery owner Lowe said. “She is influenced by cultural history, artifacts and the cycle of life. The ephemeral quality of her work questions its history; are the parts recovered from antiquity or created to look ancient? Her work uses objects in unconventional ways to tell stories and represent ideas.”
Heidi Lowe Gallery’s summer hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Upcoming shows are from 6-9 p.m. and include Oct. 12, Yevgeniya Kaganovich solo show; Nov. 9, Multiples; and Dec. 14, Drusy Party.
Heidi Lowe Gallery also announces that this month’s featured jewelry artist is Missy Graff of Passaic, N.J., as part of its Monthly Multiples series. Monthly Multiples is a way for visitors to get to know the artists shown at Heidi Lowe Gallery. A new artist is selected each month and creates a one-of-a-kind piece especially for Heidi Lowe Gallery.
