Herring Creek residents spearhead drive

Using social media and word of mouth, Herring Creek residents in the Angola area collected items all day Nov. 3 for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Organizers were hopeful that at least five trucks would be filled in time for a Delaware State Police escort to New Jersey Monday, Nov. 5.
