A Memorial Day weekend of foot races ended Monday morning at the Highway One Pictures 5K in Dewey Beach with 460 runners leaving the Rusty Rudder starting line and coming back between 17:23 and one hour later.

Andrew Jakubowitch, 35, was the overall winner 17:23; followed by Mudhillun Muquaibu, 34, 17:37; and Brandt Chi 49 18:53. And those are real names.

Tara Reynolds Cavaselis won the women’s race in 20:20, followed by her sister Alise Reynolds in 20:36. Sarah Dimondi Richards was third in 20:48.

Doug White, 71, a member of the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame, set an age-group course record, running 24:36. “Not bad,” Doug said. “We opened three bottles of wine at my house last night; I didn’t drink them all, but I saw them opened."

Jamie Wollard, 76, set an age-group course record with a 45:40.
