Janice M. “Bubbie” Surowiak, 50, of Millsboro, formerly of Darby, Pa., passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark.

Janice was born in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late Walter and Shirley (Reidinger)  Surowiak.

She is survived by her siblings, Shirley Ann McCloskey and her husband Joe of Winter Haven, Fla., Donald Surowiak of Norwood, Pa., Walter Surowiak Jr., of Shamokin, Pa., Michael Surowiak, Joseph Surowiak, Deborah Knight and her husband Frank, all of Tulsa, Okla., and Jeffrey Surowiak and his wife Lauri of Sunbury, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews. Janice is also survived by her life partner Vicki S. Goode and her children, Sabrina Goode and husband Chris, Tony Goode and wife Christina and their children, C.J. and Adrionna.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m., to noon, Friday, Nov. 9^, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. Burial will be private.
