Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches, located in Lincoln, has earned for a third year one of the highest awards given by Leisure Systems Inc., a Milford, Ohio-based company which franchises Jellystone Parks nationwide.

Entering its fourth camping season with Jellystone Parks, the 277-site park was honored with the Pinnacle Award, given to parks that rate 95 percent or higher on a random inspection of their facilities and operations by LSI inspectors.

“Winning this award once again exemplifies the pride and hard work that our staff performs on a daily basis,” says Vice President and General Manager Michael Fannin. “I am honored to have such a dedicated team, and I certainly am proud to accept this award on their behalf.”

The Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches is one of Delaware’s newest and offers the best of both worlds, with modern amenities in natural surroundings. Situated just off Route 1 in Lincoln, Jellystone is a stone’s throw from Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge and within minutes of area beaches, the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, tax-free outlet shopping, casinos, numerous state parks, museums and popular tourist attractions. Some of the finest seafood and culturally diverse restaurants in the state are close by.

The park encompasses 32 acres of spacious, big-rig-friendly RV sites as well as beautifully appointed, air-conditioned cabins and RV rentals with resort-style amenities. Each site comes complete with water, sewer and electric, including free cable television and wireless internet service. Amenities include a large swimming pool, camp store, laundry facilities, dog run, playground, basketball, volleyball, giant building blocks, horseshoe pits, a game room and lots of supervised themed activities and entertainment for all ages. The park is noted not only for a commitment to customer service and cleanliness, but also a wide assortment of themed weekends from Yogi Bear’s Wild West Weekend to Christmas in July, Boo Boo’s Safari Weekend, and Trick or Treating with Yogi in October, to name just a few.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches’ 2014 schedule runs through Nov. 2.
