KINfolk's Wine Tasting & Art Auction slated for July 16Fundraiser will buy laptops for hospitalized or homebound children
KINfolks' Eighth Annual Wine Tasting & Art Auction will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, at The Cordrey Center, 30366 Cordrey Road in Millsboro. Admission is $30.
A live auction, silent auction, fantastic wine and great food highlight the evening. Among those donating art this year are Ellen Rice, Kevin Fleming, Doris Ingram, Laura Hickman, Nancy Katz, Jack Wiberg, Ed Cook, Ruth Valva, Gerilyn Gordon Gaskill and Marvin Carney, to name a few.
Blooming Boutique is donating a silver Trollbeads bracelet with clasp to the first 225 ticket purchasers. Longtime supporter Holland Jewelers has donated a beautiful ladies' nine-diamond cluster, 14K filigree gold ring for auction.
Dave Wilson’s live auction will also include a one-week stay in a condo on Lewes Beach, an undergraduate course of the bidder's choice from Wilmington College, and an up-close, private magic show for 14 at the Dickens Parlour Theatre. There will also be a varied selection of silent auction items from local merchants, including a selection of domestic wines from Teller Wines.
