Knife-wielding man robs Long Neck store

Source: Delaware State Police Delaware State Police are searching for this man who they say robbed a Long Neck convenience store.

Delaware State Police are searching for a man who they say pulled a knife on a Long Neck convenience store clerk Oct. 15 and left with money and cigarettes.

The man entered Uncle Willie's at 32869 Long Neck Road at 9:05 p.m. and approached a 23-year-old woman working behind the counter, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.

He held a knife and demanded money and cigarettes before fleeing in an unknown direction, Fournier said.

No one was injured.

Police describe the man as white, 20 to 30 years old, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighing 130 to 150 pounds and wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, green flat-brimmed hat, gray sweatpants, black gloves, white sneakers and dark, full-framed glasses.
