Kyle Busch visits and donates to Airmen
NASCAR driver Kyle Busch paid a visit to Dover Air Force Base Sept. 11. Busch and his wife Samantha attended the 9/11 memorial dedication.
Then they joined his sponsor, Nestle Toll House Morsels, and Dover International Speedway representatives in the donation of 1,500 tickets to the USO Delaware for the Sept. 29 “AAA 400.”
The visit is part of an ongoing civic outreach program coordinated by the 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Office to help build positive community relationship with the military, as well as part of NASCAR’s Chase Across America program, a nationwide kickoff celebrating the Chase for the Sprint Car Cup.
Shown at the race ticket presentation in the USO Delaware office are (l-r) Joan Cote, director of USO Delaware; Eric Dietz, Nestle Toll House assistant marketing manger; and Mike Tatoian, Dover International COO.
