Lewes Community Conversations a success

By Charito Calvachi-Mateyko, D.J./M.A.C.T. | Jun 16, 2014

I want to thank the City of Lewes for helping to make the Delaware Hispanic Commission’s “The healthiest food from the Incas” Community Conversation at the Net House at Canalfront Park in Lewes such a success.

Our presenter, Merida Iriarte de la Rosa, master chef from Peru and master chef of ancient Inca recipes, was delighted with her reception in Lewes and is already talking about opportunities to return to our beloved city.

For the 35 community citizens who attended the event sponsored by the Delaware Hispanic Commission, I wish to personally thank Mayor Ted Becker and City Manager Paul Eckrich for their assistance in making the beautiful facilities of the Net House available for this occasion.

My gratitude also goes to the Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park for the quality tables and chairs added to the park and enjoyed by the participants.
