Delaware State Police are searching for a Lincoln man, 42, who they say cheated a woman out of more than $2,000.

Booker T. Martin gave a 20-year-old woman a check in 2012 and asked her to give him a small part of the amount, said Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.

The woman gave him the cash; Martin's check bounced later. The woman lost more than $2,100 through the fraud, Fournier said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 856-5850 ext. 257, 1-800-TIP-3333, go to or text 274637 using keyword DSP.
