Sen. Ernesto Lopez, R-Lewes, visited the Rehoboth Beach Boys & Girls Club to gain a better understanding of the programs offered and children served at the facility in Epworth United Methodist Church. Lopez was impressed to learn that all six of the youth development staff members are either current or retired educators, and half of them have earned master of education degrees. Lopez spoke of the importance of after-school programs such as the ones offered at the Boys & Girls Club.
